Dr. Lyn has a PhD in Public Health (Epidemiology) & a Masters Certificate in G.I.S (Georgia State University, USA), MBA Strategic Management (Aston University, UK), LLM Corporate Finance Law (University of Westminster, UK), MA Criminology & BA Law with French (Middlesex University, UK), Masters in Data Science (Simplilearn, India) and 8 Certificates in Sports for Development (GIZ/German Sports University, Germany). She is a Graduate of the Women in Sport Leadership Academy (University of Chichester, UK). Dr. Lyn has lectured and worked extensively across the UK, Europe, USA, the Caribbean, and Africa in health, sustainable development, law and business. She is the President & CEO Founder of Ghana-based NGO Building your west Africa for healthy Living, Leadership and Education (B.A.L.L.E) Foundation which develops evidence-based interventions related to her research interests including sports for development for health and education, the use of data science/AI & eSports in sports for development, the global syndemic of obesity (associated risk factors such as physical activity & education), undernutrition, and climate change. She has presented at several international conferences and co-authored publications related to health and physical education. Dr. Lyn is the Principal & CEO Founder of Silverstool, an edtech startup and CEO Founder of Silverstool Sports & Creatives, a sports management agency that develops and delivers Sports for Development Programs to develop young athletes in Africa.
