Dr. Oscar Mwaanga is the Chair of the Zambian Institute of Sport and Programme Director for the Postgraduate Certificate in International Sports Management at the University of London. Since 1998, he has been a pioneering leader in Sport for Development (SfD) in sub-Saharan Africa, developing influential initiatives and movements, including the EduSport Foundation, Kicking AIDS Out, EduMove in the UK, and Go Sisters. His practice and research focus on decolonising SfD and education, as well as integrating movement-based learning to enhance academic and health outcomes. Oscar has collaborated with key institutions such as the African Union, Commonwealth, Laureus Sport for Good, University of Tsukuba (Japan), World Academy of Sport (Australia) and Pan African University (Nigeria).
