What competencies physical activity professionals should possess to better integrate climate change-related issues into their practice: A Delphi study

We are pleased to share our recent publication, “What competencies physical activity professionals should possess to better integrate climate change-related issues into their practice: A Delphi study,” authored by Kazem Hozhabri, Tegwen Gadais, Paquito Bernard, Élianne Carrier, and Thomas A. Deshayes.
This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the key competencies required by physical activity professionals to effectively integrate climate change–related considerations into their professional practice and to better support their clients, particularly vulnerable populations. Using a three-round international Delphi process, the research identified 18 consensus-based competencies across knowledge, skills, and attitudes, offering practical guidance for the integration of climate change issues into professional training and practice.
